Some of our dresses are BRAND NEW WITH TAGS and unaltered, meaning the original owner changed their mind without ever wearing or changing the dress.
When donated items are brought into our boutique, we will add to a specific rack dedicated to our Pay It Forward Program. Brides, Mothers, Bridesmaids, and Prom go-ers will be nominated to select a dress from this rack COMPLETELY FREE. That's right! We ask for nothing in return.
Yes! We will have events catering to bridal parties, business teams, friends, family and celebrations! These will include but not limited to; hat burning classes, tea parties, bouquet building classes, gift making, yoga and so much more! Our goal is to help build up other vendors in our community while also creating a fun and unique environment for our guests!
Appointment required for all consignment. Please note that all dresses must be new or freshly laundered, with no rips, stains, or runs.
It is a great way to share the love of helping prospective brides find their dream wedding gown at a more affordable price, while putting some money in yours, and being a part of a more sustainable clothing market. We do the heavy lifting! Advertising, retail display and marketing. Consignment is a great way to sell your bridal gown without stress. Your gown is not bought from you, it’s sold for you. When your gown is sold you earn 50% (excluding taxes) of the final price.
We accept new with tags and gently used bridal gowns, formal gowns, mother of the bride/groom gowns, flower girl dresses, ring bearer suits and tuxes, veils, bridal jewelry, evening purses, hair pieces and shoes. Based on space, we also accept some décor items, bridal shower or other celebratory items. Please share your items in an email to lilyandleafbridal@gmail.com so we can determine if we have the space to accommodate. During certain times of the year, we also accept prom dresses. Dates will be shared on our social media outlets. All items must be in great condition. It is preferred that gowns be younger than 5 years old. If it is slightly beyond 5 years, we may still be open to seeing it. We do not typically accept vintage gowns or anything beyond 8 years. Older gowns will be considered depending on style. Bridesmaids dresses are on a limited basis based on space, color and style.
Please note we are unable to consign every gown or item that is brought to us based on currently inventory levels, space, item cleanliness and/or on-trend styles. Please do not be offended or upset if we are unable to consign your item(s) it's not personal!
Because this is consignment, we will carry a variety of designers and styles. We are not limited by specific designers, instead, we love them all. The price range will vary depending on the designer and condition of the gown. However, consignment gowns are priced to be budget friendly.
Let’s meet! Schedule an appointment online and provide as many details as possible. For décor or anything you may have a question about, please email us photos and information to lilyandleafbridal@gmail.com and we will get back to you asap. We will need to schedule a 30 minute evaluation appointment. At this appointment you will bring your gown and other items into the boutique for a visual evaluation. If accepted, we will go through the contractual details.
Once we’ve decided that your preowned dress is the right fit, we’ll have an open and honest conversation about how the gown will be priced. Generally, we’ll sell your secondhand wedding dress from its original retail price by 40-50% and use that as the starting price for “like new” preowned bridal gowns. New with tags and unaltered will be priced at 50-60% from its original price. Lily and Leaf Bridal’s consignment share split is 60/40 for new with tags gowns less than 2 years old and priced at $1,000 or above of the final sales price less any taxes or fees and 50/50 of the final sales price less any taxes or fees for all other items. Gowns will also be advertised and available on our website, some may be taken to bridal shows and events, posted on social media and featured in customized videos for additional exposure.
Someone from our bridal team will reach out via email or message to you within 24-72 hours of the sale to let you know that your dress has been sold. Expect payment via agreed upon method (a check with your name on it to be picked up, PayPal, or Venmo) you on the 1st or 15th of the month (whichever is the closer date). Our payment process is smooth and straightforward. As part of our standard agreement, merchandise is accepted for consignment for a period of 6 months. During that time, all gowns will be available for sale in the store and on the website. If there’s no buyer after that, You’ll have 14 days to retrieve the bridal gown or accessory from our boutique during regular business hours or we can donate your items on your behalf. Be sure to check out our Pay it Forward program! You also have the option of negotiating an extension or renewal on your consignment with us.
